BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HEARING ON MARCH 8, 2016
Black & Veatch, representing Verizon Wireless, is requesting approval to Rezone a parcel in the PUD zone to establish a Development Plan, for property owned by the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association known as the Lake Forest Open Space, located generally within Sections 18 and 19, T13N R2W NMPM, at 1311 Lake Forest Cir, Pagosa Springs, CO. The Development Plan will provide standards for placement of a Commercial Mobile Radio Systems (CMRS) wireless communication facility north of the lake, including a 70’ monopine pole and faux wood equipment shelter, and continued recreation and open space use.

Application for Front Yard Setback Variances
“The Town of Pagosa Springs has received an “Application for Front Yard Setback Variances” for 9 lots within the Mesa Heights West subdivision, located west of the intersection of North Third Street and Mesa Drive. Subject properties include Lots 27-30 in Block 1 of the Town of Pagosa Springs and Lots 15-19 in Block 4 of the Town of Pagosa Springs, all of which are within the Residential Low Density zoning district (R-6). The property owner is requesting a 10 foot reduction of the required 25 foot front yard setbacks, allowing 15 foot front yard setbacks for the subject properties. The Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing to consider the Front Yard Setback Variance Application at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 to be held in Town Hall at 551 Hot Springs Blvd. Anyone with questions or wishing to provide comments should contact the Town Planning Department at 970-264-4151 x225.
