New listings of homes for sale in Colorado increased dramatically in January to 8,061, according to statistics made available by the Colorado Association of Realtors.
Compared to December 2015, single-family home listings increased 54 percent, while condominium/townhouse listings rose 44 percent.
Experts believe this jump may be a sign that more sellers are ready to come onto the market. Even so, compared to January 2015, new listings for single-family homes were 2 percent lower and condominium-townhouse listings were down 7 percent.
