There is an opportunity for students to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) exam on Feb. 10 at Pagosa Springs High School.

This is test that the military uses as its entrance exam, which also has an interest survey. Whether or not a student is interested in the military, it is a nice way for the student to test their academic skills, as well as explore careers related to their interests.

There is absolutely no commitment by taking this exam to spending time with military recruiters (unless they want to).

If they are interested in this free exam, there is a sign-up sheet in the career center at the high school.
