In its seventh year, GECKO’s (Giving every Child Knowledge of the Outdoors) Devil Mountain Ultra continues its reputation as One Hell of a Run!

Ultra runners close to home and from far afield flock to traverse the scenic but brutal climbs, navigating remote backcountry trails in high altitude.

In 2014, GECKO added the Demons of Dust trail run. It starts a little bit later and has a half marathon, 10k and 5k. This is ideal for crew or spectators out here to support the ultra or for locals and runners in nearby towns that enjoy a low-key trail event.
