Special to The PREVIEW

The Mountain View Homemakers will host its annual summer potluck picnic on Thursday, Aug. 13. Please arrive between 11 and 11:30 a.m.

Lorna Fox is hosting the picnic at her home at 129 Kinley Court. There is no need for concern if it is raining because she has ample covered balcony space. You do not need to bring a chair.

Members are asked to bring a covered dish to share. Plates, silverware, napkins, paper cups, water and iced tea will be provided. Guests do not need to bring anything.

This is a day for picnicking and visiting with each other. We will not have a speaker.

Please carpool as parking is limited. Drive up the driveway and a few husbands will help with parking. If we get full up top, you will need to park in the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the driveway. Again, a few husbands will drive you up the hill.

Mountain View Homemakers is a women’s service organization that has existed for 50 years. We welcome all area women who are interested in bettering their lives, the lives of their families and the community as a whole. The monthly meetings include lunch and a speaker or activity.

There are no dues or membership requirements to join this friendly, interesting and diverse group of women.

Call Tozi Rubin at 731-3360 for directions to the picnic.
