Team Intrepid Fallen Heroes passes through Pagosa in Race Across America

Most of the bicyclists competing in the 34th annual Race Across America, which began in California and will end more than 3,000 miles away in Maryland, could be seen peddling their way through Pagosa Springs on Monday of this week.

One of the four-person teams passing through town was Team Intrepid Fallen Heroes, which is competing to raise money to build nine Intrepid Spirit Centers, diagnostic and treatment centers that help military heroes suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health conditions. These centers will be located at military bases and medical centers around the country.
