The “Howlin’ Wolf” downhill race was run Saturday at Wolf Creek Ski Area with 43 racers participating.

Speeds of between 65 and 70 miles per hour were reached by the fastest racers as the race course was run from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

Don Sinkey had the overall men’s fastest combined time of 1:53.07.

Randi Young from South Fork was overall women’s fastest with a time of 2:10.47.

In the under 18 division, the overall fastest time for the boys was Ian Roth at 2:00.94.

Annabelle Bowles was overall fastest girl with a time of 2:16:78.
