Special to The SUN

The Wolf Creek Ski Team is sponsoring a full-length, “top to bottom” “Howlin’ Wolf” downhill ski race at Wolf Creek Ski Area on March 28. It is open to the public and the entry fee is $20 for racers older than 18 and $10 for racers under 18.

The race is a fundraiser for the Wolf Creek Ski Team.

The race course will begin at the top of the Bonanza lift and run the full length on the Powder Puff run to the bottom. This is a very rare chance to “let ‘em run.”

Registration forms can be downloaded from or you can register at the Base Camp Lodge at 7 a.m. at Wolf Creek Ski Area. The course inspection is at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m.
