Pirate boys earn back-to-back wins, host Mean Moose tonight

The Pagosa Springs Pirates boys’ basketball team performed better this week than they have in quite a while, pulling off victories against both the Centauri Falcons at home on Saturday night and against the Wolverines in Bayfield on Tuesday night.

“Saturday night’s game against Centauri was a good win for us!” coach Randy Sorenson wrote in an email to SUN staff on Tuesday. “They have some very athletic kids and they are a tough matchup for us.”
