Locals place in Presidents Day Races at Wolf Creek Ski Area

Sunday, Feb. 15, the snow and sunshine brought a big crowd of 98 people to the Presidents Day Race at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

The fastest time of the day went to Wayne Sheldrake, who rang victorious with a time of 23.58 seconds. This holiday race brought placers from all over the nation, from Jamie Gumina of King George, Va., to Carl Kobmda of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

River Pitcher placed first in the girls 12-14 division with a time of 27.95.
