Pirate boys break even again, face Centauri next

The Pagosa Springs Pirates broke even once again last week, falling 42-32 to the Mean Moose in Alamosa on Friday night and then beating the Monte Vista Pirates 45-35 on Saturday.

Both of these were away games.

This moves the boys up to 20th in the state 3A division with a 2-3 win-loss record in the Intermountain League and an 8-8 record overall. Alamosa tops the league with a 5-0 record (12-4 overall) and is ranked fifth in the division. Bayfield, despite having lost all of their league games, is ranked 14th in the state, while Monte Vista is ranked 19th and Centauri is 23rd.
