The body of a Pagosa Springs man was found in the San Juan River Saturday morning.
The body, identified by Coroner Dan Keuning as Anthony Montoya-Martinez, 33, was discovered south of the new 6th Street pedestrian bridge, said Pagosa Springs Police Chief William Rockensock.
The discovery was made by a person walking their dog and was called in just before 10 a.m. on Feb. 7, Rockensock noted.
