Special to The PREVIEW

Several years ago, I watched “The Living Matrix” film. I was very impressed with this provocative film that addresses the energy fields around and in the body on many levels, some that I had also experienced personally.

Monday, Dec. 15, from 2:45 to 5:15 p.m., Luminosity Talks will revisit this interesting and educating film that will leave you more aware that there is more to you and me, as the healers and researchers show in the film.

As they followed the trail of groundbreaking research across Europe and the U.S., “The Living Matrix — The Science of Healing,” uncovers new ideas about the intricate web of factors that determines our health. It features dedicated scientists, psychologists, bioenergetic researchers and holistic practitioners who are finding healing potential in a wide variety of new places.

In the film, researchers and others who faced health challenges put the science in perspective when they tell their stories. The family of a young Greek boy with cerebral palsy tries to improve his quality of life through reconnective healing. A British woman, diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, immerses herself in neurolinguistic programming. An American woman runs out of options to treat her chronic fatigue syndrome and, as a last resort, begins using an information-based therapy. All three make remarkable recoveries.

These experts reveal how energy and information fields, not genetics, drive human physiology and biochemistry and illustrate the benefits of integrating conventional and alternative health care.

Everyone, including all alternative and conventional health care practitioners, is invited to join in the discussion of the film and your experiences after the viewing.

Luminosity Talks meets at the PLPOA Vista Clubhouse, located at 230 Port Ave.
