obit-feyenSharon Arlene Feyen, of Pagosa Springs, went to heaven on Friday, Sept. 19,

She lived in Pagosa Springs for the last 10 years, where she loved to sit on the porch and watch the buzzing hummingbirds with the Pagosa mountains surrounding her. She was an amazing wife of 45 years to Ken, with three amazing children, Travis, Tiffany and Brittany. The love for her five grandkids was always apparent with her amazing ability to always be cheerful and full of energy and take in every precious moment.

Family was always most important to her, she loved spending time with all of them: daughter-in-law Andrea; son-in-law Greg; sister-in-law Barb — who she considered her true sister; brother-in-law Larry; cousin Margie; and Tiffany’s close friend, Terry.

Her optimistic views in day-to-day life, her strong faith of the Lord, unselfishness to a fault and her unwavering ability to love so deeply is why she was the rock of our family. She fulfilled her passion to give to others as a dedicated registered nurse for over 25 years. Sharon will be deeply loved and missed, but we all know she is happy with her mom and dad in heaven, finally out of pain and our Guardian Angel.

Sharon and family are very appreciative of the Hospice of Mercy team and their loving support. In lieu of any flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Mercy Health Foundation on behalf of Sharon Feyen. You may do so by contacting them at (970) 764-2800, or a donation can be sent to 1010 Three Springs Blvd., Suite 108, Durango, CO 81301.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at CrossRoad Christian Fellowship, 1044 Park Ave.
