All are invited to the Archuleta County Republican Women’s Patriot’s Day Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pagosa Springs Youth Center.
This annual celebration with a barbecue features speeches by Republican candidates on the state, local and national levels.

Paul Brown, candidate for 59th House District; Rich Valdez, candidate for sheriff; Ray Lattin, commissioner candidate; and Jim Huffman, chair of central committee.
Invited speakers include: Bob Beauprez, candidate for governor; Jill Repella, candidate for lieutenant governor; and Cory Gardner, candidate for U.S. Senate.
It is in creditable for a small town such as Pagosa Springs to attract so many speakers at one time.
