The Pagosa Pirate track team performed well at the Intermountain League meet last Saturday in Alamosa.

“We had some great performances this weekend,” coach Connie O’Donnell wrote in an email to The SUN. “It was a bit windy, but that didn’t seem to interfere with anything.”

In addition to performing well this week, several athletes secured their spots in the upcoming state competition, which begins today, May 15, and goes through Saturday, May 17, in Lakewood.
