Medicare counseling
SHIP (Medicare counseling) has moved back to the Senior Center on Wednesday mornings. Please call 264-0502 to make your appointment to meet with one of our experienced and talented SHIP Medicare counselors.
Medicare 101 class
Tuesday, April 22, 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the dining room of the Pagosa Springs Senior Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd.
Eligible participants are either turning 65 this year or are receiving Social Security Disability benefits. The class is free. Call 264-0502 to reserve your spot.
AARP — Smart Driver Program
You may be eligible for senior discounts on your auto insurance for up to three years when you participate in this accredited defensive driver program, which will be held Thursday, May 8, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and Thursday, June 19, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the dining room of the Pagosa Springs Senior Center. Cost for AARP members is $15, non-members $20. Please call Lois O’Dell at 759-8232.

All meals include our wonderful salad bar. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Friday, April 18 — Baked salmon with rice pilaf, green beans, a whole wheat roll, baked apples and salad bar.
Monday, April 21 — Grilled chicken with fruit sauce, broccoli, baked potato, fruit salad and salad bar.
Tuesday, April 22 — Combination burrito with green chili, cilantro rice, grape salad and salad bar.
Wednesday, April 23 — Beef stew with asparagus, fruit salad, a biscuit and salad bar.
Reservations and cancellations are required. You can make a reservation at 264-2167 by 9 a.m. the morning of the day you would like to dine at the Pagosa Springs Senior Center. For your convenience, you can make your reservations in advance or have a standing reservation on days you know you will always attend. Please cancel if you cannot attend on your standing reservation days.
