Special to The PREVIEW
The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday evening, March 12, in the Pinon Room of the Quality Resort.
Join us for socializing at 6 p.m. (drinks and appetizers will be available for purchase), followed by the program and a short business meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The Pagosa Springs Photo Club is pleased to announce this month’s program, to be presented by club member Robert B. Green. The program will consist of selected photos taken by Robert during a trip he and his wife took during April 2013 to Australia and New Zealand.
Although this program will not be a travelogue, it will give the viewer a flavor of both countries. Robert and his wife spent 20 days in Australia and New Zealand, and traveled via commercial and charter airlines, a helicopter, several trams (rail), buses, vans, a steamer, several catamarans, a jet boat and cable gondolas. Robert will sum up with a few suggestions about travel photography.
Members are also encouraged to bring one to five photographs on a flash drive or CD for review and discussion following the program, as time permits.
Photography enthusiasts of all levels of ability are invited to attend club meetings at no charge for the first meeting. If interested, you are invited to join for annual dues of $20 for individuals, $30 for a family membership and $10 for a student membership.
The Photography Club will continue to meet the second Wednesday of each month from September through May at 6 p.m. in the Pinon Room of the Quality Resort.
For more information concerning the meeting, contact Al Olson at 903-9415, Steve Merchant at 264-1226 or TJ Reynolds at 731-9581.
