Fort Lewis College welcomes former NFL player and current motivational speaker Trent Shelton to campus on Thursday, Jan. 16. Mr. Shelton will speak about overcoming obstacles in his own life and how others can do the same during sessions at 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Both sessions are free and open to the community.
Trent Shelton played for the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks during his NFL career. When his professional football playing days came to an end, he turned his focus to helping others. Today he tours the country as a motivational speaker and president of Rehabtime, a personal development and leadership community. He is also an author and strength coach.
