Pat Parelli, founder and chief visionary of Parelli Natural Horsemanship, has announced a Cutting and Team Sorting Competition on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Parelli Campus in Pagosa Springs.

This event, a fund-raiser for the Four Corners Cutting Horse Club, will feature a cutting competition jackpot, as well as a team sorting competition jackpot.

Admission is free for spectators, with proceeds from participants going to the Four Corners Cutting Horse Club.

The competition will begin at 9 a.m. at the Parelli Campus, 7110 U.S. 160 West, with the wrap-up time to be determined.

There is no limit on the number of participants or spectators, but it is recommended that you arrive before 9 a.m. to ensure that you and your horse are ready to begin at the scheduled time.

Additionally, food vendors will be on site throughout the competition.

For more information on this event, contact the Parelli Corporate Headquarters at 731-9400.

Don’t pass up this exciting opportunity to ride with Pat Parelli and engage with your fellow local horsemen and women.

Remember, proceeds go to the Four Corners Cutting Horse Club — a great cause for a great Saturday.
