Singer/songwriter competition in South Fork

    The South Fork Music Association has some great events coming up.

    On Saturday, June 15, at 7 p.m. at the Rio Grande Club in South Fork, the association is holding a singer/songwriter competition.

    Entry in the competition and spectator admission are free.

    To enter, submit a video, mp3 or link of your music to as soon as possible, as the deadline is approaching fast.

    Six to eight singer/songwriters, duos or trios will be chosen to compete on June 15. The winner will be determined by the amount of money raised from viewers during the competition. The winner will receive a paid slot at the eighth annual Rhythms on the Rio festival, Aug. 10-11. N
