“The Power of Now” might be one of the most important books written in the 20th century. A move is underway to find people in the area who want to study and apply its teachings.

The book was written by Eckhart Tolle, who became a guru for Oprah Winfrey when she offered worldwide Internet classes on another of his books, “A New Earth, Awakening to your Life’s Purpose.” Millions of people around the world were part of these classes.

Tolle says, “You are here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold. That is how important you are!”

ForeWord Magazine says, “Tolle has succeeded … in synthesizing the teachings of masters such as Jesus and the Buddha into an easily accessible guide to achieving spiritual consciousness … and makes enlightenment attainable.”

Anyone interested in studying Eckhart Tolle’s books is invited to a meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. at 565 Village Drive, Suite A, which is the Liberty Tax office. A schedule and study plans will be decided by the group.
