Environmental film festival proposed for summer

Sally High, the secretary for the board of directors of the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership, has had a busy week, giving presentations to the Town Tourism Committee last Thursday afternoon, the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation Monday evening, and the town council on Tuesday.

“The Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership was formed in 2009,” High began her presentation to town council, after pointing out that Mayor Ross Aragon is the president of the GGP, “and the town has leased this non-profit corporation .7 acres on the west end of Centennial Park. We have matured a lot in the years of our existence, but there are still no domes down there in that park, which is part of the reason I feel it is so important to keep you updated.”
