Giving Highway Users Tax Funds (HUTF) to metropolitan districts in Archuleta County was the topic of discussion for more than one hour at Tuesday’s meeting of the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners.
Up for consideration by the BoCC during the discussion were two agenda items — the first a recalculation of the HUTF funding currently used for existing metro districts, and the second an agreement with the county’s newest metro district for the allocation of HUTF funds.
