Josh left this earth to continue his journey on Wednesday, April 17.
He was laid to rest April 24 in a private service in Colorado Springs.
Josh was always there to lend an ear or shoulder when someone needed it. He always had a way to make you smile. He made an impact on the many lives he touched. He lived in Pagosa for three years before moving back to Colorado Springs last June.
Known for his kindness and love of others, he acquired the nickname, “Huggy,” because when he greeted people, he would always give them a hug. He loved music, reading, his friends, video games and talking to people.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jacob, and left behind his father, Jon Eliason of Pagosa Springs, his mother Jodi King of Colorado Springs, as well as his grandparents on both sides, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He truly has earned his wings.
