    FIRST READING

    The first reading of Ordinance No. 787 (Series 2013) was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Meeting held on March 5, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. ORDINANCE 787, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS REVISING SECTIONS 12.3.1 AND 12.3.2 OF THE PAGOSA SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE, regarding offenses associated with marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Violation of this Ordinance is subject to enforcement and punishment pursuant to Article 3, Chapter 1 of the Pagosa Springs Municipal Code, including Section 1.3.3. providing for a fine not to exceed $1,000, or incarceration for not to exceed 1 year, or both. The full text of the ordinance, including any amendments, is available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall.

    PUBLIC NOTICE

    The Town of Pagosa Springs Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing regarding a free standing sign size variance application. The applicant, Quality Inn, has applied for a free standing sign size variance to be located at 3505 W. Highway 160. The variance request is related to the Town Land Use Development Code section 6.12.4.1.b.(iii). The public hearing is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 and will be held in Town Hall at 551 Hot Springs Blvd. Anyone wishing to comment should provide written comments 8 days prior to the hearing to the Town Planning Department, contact the Town Planning Department before the hearing or attend the public hearing and be heard.

The variance request is related to the Town Land Use Development Code section 6.12.4.1.b.(i).
