Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs to host open house

Rotarians Tom Steen, left, and Codie Wilson, right, present Rotary Community Grants totaling $2,500 to Jody McAlister with Special Olympics, Julie Loar with Archuleta County Education Center, Janeah Weaver with Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center, Leslie White with Pagosa Springs Youth Center and Lynne Bridges with Seeds of Learning Early Care and Education Center. Other organizations receiving grant funds, but whose representatives were unable to attend the presentation, were Pope John Paul II/Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Pantry and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado. Monica McGuire, Don McKeehan and Lassie Olin served on the Rotary Community Grants Committee along with Steen and Wilson.

You are invited to an evening of introduction to our many service projects and get to know our membership.  Appetizers and beverages will be served.

The open house will be held Monday, March 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lobby area at 1st Southwest Bank, 249 Navajo Trail Drive.
