The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club is pleased to announce that $20,000 in college scholarships and vo-tech scholarships will be awarded in 2013.

The club has awarded over $303,500 to 127 students since 1982.

Any senior graduating from a Pagosa Springs area high school is eligible. Scholarship application forms are available at high school counselor Mark Thompson’s office at the Pagosa Springs High School. Completed applications are due to the office by April 3.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic accomplishment, extra curricular activities, personal essay, personal interview, financial need and letters of recommendation.

The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club is proud to invest in the future of graduates of Pagosa Springs High Schools. Scholarships are funded through fund-raisers in the community and interest from the Pagosa Springs Rotary Scholarship Foundation Fund. The next Rotary fund-raiser is Rotary Casino Night on Feb. 2 at the Ross Aragon Community Center. See any Rotarian for tickets.
