High school to host financial aid program

    On Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 7-9 p.m. the counseling department at Pagosa Springs High School will present a financial aid program for all seniors, juniors, and their parents at the school auditorium.

    The program highlights important information about obtaining financial aid using the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for college/trade school/tech school/university/etc.

    The program will feature financial aid expert Phil Schroeder, the chief financial aid officer at Adams State University.

    This meeting is a must for senior students who are going on to any kind of school after high school.

    There is no signup sheet or registration forms required; just show up on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.  Home-schooled and private school students are welcome to attend.
