Special to The PREVIEW
Always wanted to be Matt Damon for a night? Maybe Marilyn Monroe or Demi Moore? How about the Hollywood Elvis ?
Now’s your chance.
On Saturday, Feb. 2, Pagosans will arrive at the Rotary Club’s Casino Night dressed as, and perhaps even acting like, their favorite Hollywood stars. Or in whatever creative and outrageous costumes give them inspiration.
Mix in a healthy dose of music, dancing, Vegas-style gaming, lip-smacking munchies, an interesting lineup of quality silent auction items, and it all adds up to one of the most fun nights of the winter season.
Casino Night will be held at the Ross Aragon Community Center. It’s just a little more than three weeks from now, so be sure to mark it on your social calendar.
You’ll also be doing your part to provide college scholarships to Pagosa’s most deserving high school graduates. It’s Rotary’s annual Casino Night that provides most of the funding for the $20,000 in scholarships that the local Rotary club grants each year to our hometown students.
At $40 per person, Casino Night guarantees to put at very big smile on your face.
