Lorie Gonzales, of Pagosa Springs, was named City Market Technician of the Year, 2008. She is employed at the local City Market Pharmacy.
Lorie was recommended by both her store manager and the pharmacy manager. The recommendation highlighted her as an “asset to our pharmacy” singling out her computer skills and her instrumental role in implementing Key Retailing, and follow-up on the implementation. The pharmacy manager commented that, “She has been both my right and left hands this year, I don’t know how I would have gotten through the last year of constant tech turnover without her.” In addition to her daily duties, Lorie took it upon herself to develop a training program for technicians with information tailored to the specific challenges faced by the technicians and to the practical solutions to those problems.
