Robert and Leslie Kern of Pagosa Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lee Kern, to Joel Thomas Saaranen, son of Paul and Deborah Saaranen of South Range, Mich. Jamie and Joel are planning a January wedding, and will reside in Pagosa Springs.
