7-8 basketball

Rosters and schedules for the 7-8 youth basketball program are being finalized and practices may begin next week.

Schedules for this year’s program will be available next week in the recreation office in Town Hall and will also be posted on the recreation department page at

Games are tentatively scheduled to begin the first week of December. Due to the large number of participants and limited amount of gym space available during the holiday season, games may be scheduled Monday-Thursday at either 5:15 p.m., 6:15 or 7:15, through late December. All games will be played in the Ross Aragon Community Center gymnasium.

Registration for the 9-10 and 11-12 divisions will begin later this month; the season for these divisions will not begin until early January.

For more information call 264-4151, Ext. 231 or 232.

Soccer photos

Coaches and parents who ordered youth soccer photos can contact Jeff Laydon at Pagosa Photography, 264-3686, to arrange pick up of their orders. The recreation office will provide sponsors with team plaques and pictures as soon as they are available.

The recreation staff would also like to thank Mr. Laydon for accommodating another busy schedule during this year’s youth soccer season.

This year marks the 16th year Jeff has offered professional photography service to our programs while donating all of the team photographs used in the commemorative plaques free of charge; thanks again.
