Pagosa Skate Pavilion fund-raiser set for Oct. 18

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 18: Friends of Pagosa Skate Pavilion is hosting its first official fund-raiser to complete the final phase of acquiring its 501(c)3 non-profit status.

The multipurpose ice/roller pavilion is really going to happen; all donations are fully tax-deductible.

The event will be held at the Elktrace Bed and Breakfast, 700B Honeybee Place, 731-5868. Come see plans for Pagosa’s new facility. There will be a silent auction, great food and wine. Have fun and help us meet our goal. If you missed our open house Tuesday, now is your chance to see the pictures, plot plans, ask questions and show your support for this fantastic future facility for all Pagosans and visitors.

Directions to Elktrace: From U.S. 160, go north on Piedra Road, turn right at Stevens Lake Road (the next right after the Cloman Boulevard access to the airport), keep left past the water towers and go around the reservoir to Honeybee Road. Follow the Elktrace B&B signs. You will be greeted along the way by members of Roller Girls in Pagosa and local hockey players.

For further information, or directions, call Tari Woods, 731-8877, or Carol Stewart, 731-0377.
