One again, the annual Mike Valdez Bowshoot was a wonderful success. We owe a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. The support and contributions of the local and surrounding businesses is priceless. All the volunteers who helped before, during and after the bowshoot, also priceless! Without everyone’s help, this endeavor would not be possible. Our hearts go out to each and every one of you. Next year’s bowshoot is July 20, 2013. We hope to see you there.

Ruritan benefit

The three bridge groups would like to thank Boss Hogg’s, A Time For You Hair Salon, Chavolo’s Taqueria, the Knights of Columbus, Two Chicks and A Hippie Restaurant and Higher Grounds Coffee House for the donations of the door prizes for the bridge tournament to benefit the Archuleta County Ruritan Club. There were over 50 bridge players participating. Thank you so much for your kind donations.

Pine Ridge

A local organization and a local business gave residents at Pine Ridge Extended Care Center a great experience.

PLPOA gave eight-day fishing passes to our residents to allow them to fish. The Healing Waters gave our residents day passes to enjoy the pool.

We at Pine Ridge would like to thank them. Without generous and thoughtful people in our community, this would not have been possible.
