The “Take a Hit against Type 1 Diabetes” charity softball tournament and Home Run Derby will take place July 21 and 22, at the Pagosa Springs softball fields.

First game is at 8 a.m. and the team fee is $150.

This is a double elimination tournament. Deadline for entry will be July 18.

Home Run Derby is $10 for tournament players and $15 for non-tourney participants. Co-ed and men’s teams are welcome.

No metal cleats or titanium bats are allowed. ASA approved bats only.

All proceeds go directly to 3-year-old Abreana Gonzales to help purchase a diabetes alert dog. The dog will be a tremendous help as Abreana deals with Type 1 Diabetes.
