Theatre for a good cause

There’s more than one reason to bring the family out to the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts this weekend to view Thingamajig Theatre Company’s “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!”

Not only is the show a perfect way to spend an evening or afternoon out of the heat with family, in a welcoming environment, but a portion of all ticket sales for the July 5, 6 and 8 performances will be donated to help firefighters and relief efforts during this period of intense fire activity across the state.

Come join us for a great show, relaxing family entertainment in an air-conditioned theatre space and support our fire fighters and support crews who are working to keep Pagosa and Colorado safe and beautiful.

This summer is filled with many wonderful performances from the sizzle of “Chicago” to the lighter side of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” to a contemporary look at the relationship between two emerging artists, “The Last Five Years.”

Thingamajig Theatre Company is committed to bringing the region the highest quality programming at the most affordable prices, in a setting unlike any in Pagosa. If you haven’t been out to visit, we encourage you to come see a show.

Forget your worries; escape to a night a fun!

Thingamajig Theatre Company’s “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!,” directed by Wendy Moore and choreographed by Alyse Neubert, continues its run this week July 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m. Performances run through Aug. 5. The show is appropriate for all audiences.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door ($10 for children 12 and under) and can be secured by visiting or calling 731-SHOW.

The 2012 Summer Theatre Season is produced by the Thingamajig Theatre Company with sponsorship from Citizen’s Bank, Wild Spirit Designs and Earth Signs of Pagosa.

Thingamajig Theatre Company is a nonprofit organization and the resident theatre company of the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts located at 2313 Eagle Drive in Pagosa Springs.
