On Sunday, June 17, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Father’s Day service topic will be “Pathways to Responsible Fatherhood,” presented by Bret Burrows, who is the head of a new local program which replaces the former Fatherhood Program. It is funded by a federal grant and the goal is to encourage and support Archuleta fathers.
Bret will explain the various parts of the program, which are organized to promote positive parenting, healthy relationships, and financial stability for dads and their families in this area.
A medical issue ended Bret’s 20-year career as a pilot and caused him to explore a new path for his life. He started training as a life coach and that led him to Archuleta County and the Pathways program.
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall. The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. All are welcome.
