Monday, April 30, is the last night in the Community Dance Night series of the High Country Squares Square Dance Club.
This is a fun and easy dance night for new dancers to experience our friendly club and consider if they would like to continue learning more about Modern Western Square Dance.
Held at the PLPOA Clubhouse at 230 Port Ave. from 6 to7 p.m. anyone interested in square dancing can give it a whirl.
Caller Lloyd Husted of Farmington, N.M., will teach a variety basic steps set to lively music. Dancing is for everybody: youth, solos, couples and families. You will meet new people easily in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
Come and enjoy fun, fitness, fellowship, friendship and food — with the High Country Squares of Pagosa Springs.
No previous dance experience is necessary, and children are invited to join in as well — minimum suggested age is 7. Adult admission is $3 and children 18 and under are admitted free.
The open community dancing will be followed by the club’s regular Mainstream and Plus dancing from 7 to 9 p.m.
The High Country Squares offers weekly dances, regional dances and a wonderful sense of community for local and visiting dancers. Contact Lorna at 731-5525 for more information.
