Please join Marky Egan’s family and friends at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, located at 225 S. Pagosa Blvd.
Marky’s three children —Shay, Devan and Erin Monkiewicz — will be in Pagosa Springs, as well as other family members.
Marky passed away on Monday, March 5, in Colorado Springs at the age of 51 after her courageous battle with brain cancer. Marky’s involvement with children in sports through swimming and Parks and Rec will be greatly missed.
It is the intention of her friends to share how Marky made an impact on Pagosa Springs and the many hearts she touched. Please bring a story to share and a snack to share afterwards in the fellowship hall.
A special scholarship fund is being created to help children who might need financial aid to join Parks and Rec programs.
For more information, call Joanne Irons, 946-7545, or Tom Carosello at Parks and Rec, 264-4151, Ext 232.
