Religious Exploration program: ‘Spirit of Life’

Sunday, April 15, at 12:30 P.M., the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist will continue our Religious Exploration program for 2012.

The sessions are facilitated by Julie Loar, religious education and program coordinator.

This year, we are exploring a program called “Spirit of Life,” which is based on the hymn of the same name.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of the spiritual life as framed by the lyrics of Carolyn McDade’s song and is part of the Tapestry Of Faith curriculum from the Unitarian Universalist Association.

This month’s session is based on our relationship to the natural world and how we can experience spiritual moments in nature through a sense of awe and wonder.

Participants are invited to celebrate the beauty and power of the natural world and to honor our connection to the web of life.

The program aspires to bring meaning, beauty, inclusivity and growth to Unitarian Universalist adults as they deepen their spiritual awareness and connections.

Meetings are held at the UU Fellowship in Greenbriar Plaza at Park and North Pagosa.  Please bring a brown bag lunch and take part in a stimulating discussion and exchange.  There is a suggested donation of $10 to support our Religious Exploration program.
