Deward Eugene (Gene) Woodrome was born July 11, 1928, in Lookeba, Cado Co., Okla., and died at age 83 on March 30, 2012.

A family viewing is at 9 a.m. and funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the LDS Chapel at 1415 E. Southern, Mesa, Ariz.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Pagosa Springs, in the old cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Iris LoRene Crowley Woodrome, nine children, 44 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
