Norma Jean Hart, 84, died Monday, March 19, 2012, in Pagosa Springs, Colo.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date and cremation will occur at Hood Mortuary Crematory.
Mrs. Hart was born March 15, 1928, in Beaver County, Pa., the daughter of Valario and Antoinette Colista. She grew up in Youngstown, Pa., and graduated from Aliquippa High School. Mrs. Hart moved to southern California in the 1950s as a young adult. It was there that she began her family and raised her children. She moved to Hawaii from 2002 until 2008 when she moved to Pagosa Springs to be closer to her son.
Mrs. Hart enjoyed many things and had a positive outlook. Therefore, she made many friends in her short time in Pagosa and wherever her travels took her. She was an active volunteer and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.
She is survived by her sons, Chris Hart, of Pagosa Springs, and Patrick Hart, of Poteau, Okla.; a brother, Carl Colista, of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her former spouse, Gene Leroy Hart, and a son, Victor Anthony Hart.
