Facts about your community center

Do you know that the Ross Aragon Community Center is a nonprofit organization?

Many people think that the community center is run and funded through the Town of Pagosa Springs. That, however, is not entirely true.

The community center staff is employed by the Town of Pagosa Springs, but the community center is its own nonprofit organization (the Pagosa Springs Facilities Community Coalition). Our money is earned by room rentals, grants and donations.

The community center currently offers 14 free programs to the public. We are always looking for ideas and volunteers for new programs.

We offer many events for the community each year, such as Celebrate America, Cinco De Mayo, rummage sales, a Halloween carnival, the Festival of Trees auction, and many other dances and concerts.

Check our website at www.townofpagosasprings.com for a schedule of events.

You can also follow us on our facebook page: Pagosa Springs Community Center.

We offer room rentals for all types of events and parties: receptions, birthdays, fund-raisers, meetings and more.

Call the center for more information, 264-4152.
