UU topic: ‘Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind’

On Sunday, March 18, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be “Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind,” presented by the Rev. Olivia Holmes.

Holmes points out that, “Zen Buddhism invites us all to see reality for what it is, not for what we want it to be, and to live fully engaged in the enormous gift of each moment.”

Reverend Holmes will reflect on lessons from Zen Buddhism which lend themselves to the paths that Unitarian Universalists walk.

Holmes is a lifelong UU who has served as a settled minister, adirector of international and interfaith relations for the national Unitarian Universalist Association, and who has been serving as interim minister in New England congregations since moving to Temple, N.H., in 2007.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall and child care will be provided.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn East on Greenbriar Drive off North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
