Sunday, March 8, at 12:30 p.m., the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist will continue our Religious Exploration program for 2012 that will be facilitated by Julie Loar, religious education and program coordinator.
Unitarian Universalism is a faith that is supported by principles rather than dogma. This year, we are exploring a program called “Spirit of Life,” which is based on the hymn of the same name.
The meetings are open to everyone. Each session focuses on a different aspect of the spiritual life as framed by the lyrics of Carolyn McDade’s song and is part of the Tapestry of Faith curriculum from the Unitarian Universalist Association.
This month’s session is “The Stirrings of Compassion: Caring For One Another.” The program aspires to bring meaning, beauty, inclusivity and growth to Unitarian Universalist adults as they deepen their spiritual awareness and connections.
Meetings are held at the UU Fellowship in Greenbriar Plaza at Park and North Pagosa.
Please bring a brown bag lunch and take part in a stimulating discussion and exchange.
There is a suggested donation of $10 to support our Religious Exploration program.
