Wal-Mart will conduct an open house from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Extension Building at the fairgrounds.
The open house will allow Wal-Mart representatives to present preliminary design plans for their proposed store, to be located in the Aspen Village Commercial Development.
Representatives will be available at subject-specific stations, explaining elements of their proposed project, and they will be prepared to answer questions on a number of topics, including exterior building design elements, site plan, exterior lighting, access/parking, landscaping, employment opportunities and more.
The open house is formatted as a walk-through to each station, and members of the public in attendance will be asked to fill out a comment card as they proceed through the course of stations. The cards will be collected at the end of the open house. Comments will be forwarded to the Town Council and the Town Design Review Board for their consideration.
The entire community is invited, and everyone’s input is valued.
