Tim Reimherr, a worship leader from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, will be performing at Restoration Fellowship on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.
Although Tim and his team are technically here for much-needed relaxation, they are, of course, happy to share their hearts and their music with us.
What lies at the core of the International House of Prayer is a passion for the establishment of 24/7 worship and prayer and the desire to see that passion spread to other cities and nations around the world.
Their goal is gradually coming to fruition and has led to the foundation of countless, similar Houses of Prayer inspired by their example.
The fire of continual worship they envisioned has burned without interruption for 12 years now. Every week worship leaders and musicians like Tim and his team spend many hours at IHOP’s campus in Kansas City, Mo., contending for change in our nation and the nations of the world through worship and intercession.
IHOP’s vision of perpetual worship has also inspired in their musicians a powerful desire for musical excellence. The extent of that excellence becomes strikingly clear upon hearing Tim and his band play. As a musician myself, I admire the talent and skill of each individual member. However, it is a greater joy still to experience their sense of cohesion and unity as a whole.
Whether you are prepared for an exciting night of worship and prayer or you simply appreciate the calibre of musicianship represented there, it’s sure to be a wonderful night and one you won’t want to miss! We hope to see you there.
