TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and, particularly, to the electors of the PPMID Water District of Archuleta County, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on the 8th day of May, 2012, between the hours of 7:00 am. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, 3 directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms and 0 directors will be elected to serve 2-year terms. Eligible electors of the PPMID Water District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District Designated Election Official (DEO):

The Office of the DEO is open on the following days: Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 P.M.

If the DEO determines that a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form is not sufficient, the eligible elector who submitted the form may amend the form once, at any time, prior to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012. The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance is close of business on Friday, March 2, 2012 (not less than 67 days before the election). Earlier submittal is encouraged as the deadline will not permit curing an insufficient form. Affidavit of Intent To Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the designated election official by the close of business on Monday, March 5, 2012 (the sixty-fourth day before the election).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for a mail-in ballot shall be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business on Friday, May 4, 2012, except that, if the applicant wishes to receive the mail-in ballot by mail, the application shall be filed no later than the close of business on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

NOTICE CONCERNING PROPOSED

AMENDED BUDGET OF

PAGOSA AREA WATER AND

SANITATION DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given to all interested parties that the necessity has arisen to amend the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District’s 2011 Budget, that a proposed amended budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors; that a copy of the proposed Amended 2011 Budget has been filed in the office of the District at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where the same is open for public inspection; and that such proposed Budget amendment will be considered at a Public Hearing of the Board of Directors of the District to be held at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 7:30 o’clock p.m. Any elector within the District may, at any time prior to the final adoption of the Resolution to Amend the 2011 Budget, inspect the budget and file or register any objections thereto.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town has received an application for consideration of a revised Development Sketch Plan and Request for Vested Property Rights concerning the Springs Partners, LLC development located on two lots along Hot Springs Blvd, also known as, Block 42 PS Sec: 13 Town: 35 Range: 2W PS Foote-VAL Script and Block 51, Lot 5 & 35’ Lot 4, Sec: 13 Town: 35 Range: 2W PS Foote PS Wetlands. Public Hearings are scheduled as follows: March 13, 2012, at 5:15pm, The Town Planning Commission will consider the applicants request and will provide a recommendation to Town Council, who will hear the applicants request on March 22, 2012 at noon, and provide a decision regarding the applicants request. Both public hearings are located in Town Hall, 551 Hot Springs Blvd.

Anyone interested in more information should contact the Town Planning Department.

Public comments will be heard at both public hearings and written comments will be accepted in advance of the public hearings by the Planning Department and forwarded to both boards prior to decisions.

DECISION NOTICE

Tri-State Bayfield-to-Pagosa Transmission Line Reauthorization

San Juan National Forest

Columbine and Pagosa Ranger Districts

Archuleta and La Plata Counties, Colorado

As the Responsible Official, Pagosa District Ranger Kevin Khung signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on February 21, 2012, approving the Tri-State Bayfield to Pagosa 115kV Transmission Line Reauthorization Environmental Assessment (EA).

The selected alternative is the Proposed Action as described in the EA. The Forest Service will reauthorize the continued operation, maintenance, and emergency response for the existing powerline; vegetation and noxious weed management within the ROW; and maintenance, construction, and improvement of access routes to the line.

Pursuant to 36 CFR Part 215.9, implementation of this decision may immediately after publication of this notice.
