OF SAN JUAN WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 21, 2012, the terms of office of four (4) Directors of the San Juan Water Conservancy District shall expire. Applications for appointment to the Board of Directors of the District will be received until February 20, 2012, for such positions.

To be considered, you must have resided within the District for one year, must be the owner of real property within the District in Archuleta County, and must be knowledgeable in water matters. Applications are being received for the positions on an at-large basis that will generally achieve a geographical representation of the District, in accordance with Section 37-45-114, C.R.S.

At 10:00 a.m. on Friday February 10, 2012 the bid opening shall be held at the District Conference Room at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; all Bids that have been duly received will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The work to be performed generally includes, but may not be limited the following components: The District is seeking a Contractor to perform interior and exterior painting of a 1 million gallon potable water storage tank. The exterior of the tank shall be prepared at a minimum to SSPC-SP6/NACE3, 2 mil (50 micron) profile, and subsequently painted with 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Dura-Plate 235 applied at a rate of 4 to 8 mils, followed with 1 to 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Hi-Solids Polyurethane, color to be selected by the District. The interior of the tank shall be prepared at a minimum to SSPC-SP-10, 2 mil (50 micron)profile or SSPC-SP-12/NACE No. 5, WJ-2/NV-2 and subsequently painted with 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Dura-Plate 235PW applied at 3 mils, and 1 coat of Sherwin Williams Dura-Plate 235PW applied at 5 mils. The project includes all associated labor, materials, equipment and appurtenances required for a completely functioning system and as identified above.
